The Resistance Temperature Sensor is ideal for monitoring temperature during concrete curing, for evaluating seasonal variations within ground and structures, and for interpreting temperature-related stress and volume changes in dams. It measures the resistance of a platinum element and the resistance is then converted to temperature.

Operation
Resistance Sensor: The sensor is placed in the medium to be monitored. A platinum element changes resistance with temperature and the resulting resistance change is converted to temperature using a handheld readout or data acquisition system.
Applications
